Student Leadership Conference
Our Why
The purpose of our UC San Diego Student Leadership Conference is to cultivate a culture of care and connection among students, empowering them to lead authentically and intentionally in both their personal and academic lives. We aim to remind students that their leadership journey begins with self-awareness and personal growth, but it flourishes through community engagement and meaningful connections.
The inaugural Student Leadership Conference is a FREE, one-day, on-campus event open to all UCSD undergraduate students. Join us for a day full of engaging workshops, reflective activities, and connection-building. Through reflective exercises and interactive workshops, participants will explore the intersections of their identities, name their own stories, and recognize the power they hold to effect positive change within themselves and their communities.
Theme
Through intentional and interactive workshops we aim to foster a transformative environment where attendees can actively engage in connecting with themselves and others. Attendees will learn from incredible speakers emphasizing the importance of bringing care into leadership. By embracing diversity in leadership styles and emphasizing the value of compassion, we aspire to cultivate a community that champions caring leadership at every level.
