Triton Changemakers
Making positive change is part of our DNA at UC San Diego. Join us in our quest to make a real difference — whether it's making change around the globe or in our local community, you too, can be a changemaker.
Changemaker Institute
The Changemaker Institute serves as the hub for all UC San Diego Changemaker Campus programs and initiatives, which involves a cross-disciplinary, campus wide effort that includes all seven colleges, five academic divisions, five graduate and professional schools and Extension. The effort is far reaching, including off campus community organizations and other colleges and universities.
Changemaking 101
At UC San Diego, we are changemakers. That’s why Ashoka, the world’s largest network of social entrepreneurs, recently designated the university as a “Changemaker Campus.”
We Are Changemakers
Celebrate Triton Changemakers and our Changemaker Campus with an entire week dedicated to what we do best! Changemaker Week is held in conjunction with Martin Luther King Jr. Day in January each year.
From sewing protective face masks to facilitating wellness workshops, Tritons are finding new and innovative ways to help those in need. Are you a Triton Changemaker? Nominate yourself, a friend, or a colleague!
